Do you want to write a book? Have you always wanted to write a book? Then now is the time. Don't put it off another day. Share your story or expertise with the world. Are you ready to write your book? Let's get started. This eBook came about because I read at least 100 books on how to write a nonfiction book. I would get motivated. I would start writing. Then I would stop. But I never finished any of the books I wrote. At one time, I had 5 or 6 eBooks almost done and 2 physical books that needed to be completed. My goal is to have 100 eBooks on Amazon Kindle best seller list. My goal was to quit my full time job and pursue my dreams. Based on my research, I knew I could earn $10,000 a month in passive income with 100 eBooks. All I had to do was get these books done. I needed an easier way. I wasn't lazy but I needed to get some of my books completed to build my momentum. Based on my research, from each book I would earn $100 a month some more, some less, so I needed 100 books at least. I love writing so I could write and write and write. While this doesn't sound like a lot of money, who doesn't want to make money while they sleep. Who doesn't want to escape the rat race. I was doing other stuff, I knew this was a game changer for me. Since I am a big goal setter, I set out to write 2 books a week, for the entire year. I know this book is about 10 ways to write an eBook in 10 days but I needed to push myself. I knew the only way to do this is 1)Set a specific goal 2)Create an action plan. So my goal is to write 100 books by December 31, 2016. I will write 2 books a week. I will measure this by word count and completed books. Since I only wanted to write Monday thru Friday I decided I had to write 4,000 words a day or 4 articles-each at 1,000 words each. After trying over and over and failing miserably. I finally wrote 8 books in 30 days. Then I developed a system in which I can write an eBook fast. You can write an eBook fast as well. All you need to do is do a few key things everyday. If I can do it, you can do it. If you are committed to doing it, you can do it.

If you are interested in this book, I presume you have written a book or plan to write one, and are thinking of self-publishing it. If so, this is the place to start. If you self-publish a non-fiction book of interest to a defined target market, or a book of fiction for people who read the genre you have produced, you can begin to promote it to interested readers. I have sold close to 10,000 books. So while I'm no E.L. James (author of the originally self-published 50 Shades of Grey), I am a happy and profitable self-published author. Perhaps you can become one too. Having said that, your desire to self-publish may not be all about book sales. You may be looking to write a book to give to family and friends. You may be looking to gain the credibility that publishing a book gives a speaker or workshop leader. You may have other reasons for publishing your book. No matter your reason, this book will answer many of your self-publishing questions, point you in the right direction and get you started. In short, as the title says, this book will help you produce, price and promote your self-published book.

Part hero's journey, part crash course in storytelling by the modern mavericks of indie publishing, and the bestselling authors of Write. Publish. Repeat., Fiction Unboxed offers something that's never been offered before: a naked look into two writer's process, as they wrote and published a book in 30 days, from scratch, in front of the world. In 2013 Sean Platt & Johnny B. Truant wrote and published 1.5 million words (a Harry Potter series and a half worth of fiction). The next year they showed the world how they did it. In May 2014, Johnny and Sean, along with their third partner David Wright, launched a Kickstarter campaign to see if their fans wanted to see how they wrote behind closed doors. They promised to start their newest project without knowing their story, characters, or even their genre, and publish the final draft before their 30 days were up. They promised to capture every email, every story meeting, and every word from every draft. They promised to show every molecule of their process, warts and all. They had 30 days for their fans to green light the campaign. It fully funded in 11 hours. Fiction Unboxed is as revealing as it is inspiring, empowering readers and writers as much as it will entertain them. With actionable advice that will benefit any writer, this book is a true gem for anyone who loves a well told story.

The “remarkable” New York Times bestseller about the battle in the Pacific that turned the tide of World War II—from the author of The Miracle of Dunkirk (Los Angeles Times). On the morning of June 4, 1942, doom sailed on Midway. Hoping to put itself within striking distance of Hawaii and California, the Japanese navy planned an ambush that would obliterate the remnants of the American Pacific fleet. On paper, the Americans had no chance of winning. They had fewer ships, slower fighters, and almost no battle experience. But because their codebreakers knew what was coming, the American navy was able to prepare an ambush of its own. Over two days of savage battle, American sailors and pilots broke the spine of the Japanese war machine. The United States prevailed against momentous odds; never again did Japan advance. In stunning detail, Walter Lord, the #1 New York Times–bestselling author of Day of Infamy and A Night to Remember, tells the story of one of the greatest upsets in naval history.
