Many Are Called But Few Are Ready

You will walk away from your experience with this book being able to biblically and accurately discern your relationship with Jesus Christ, and have a divine, spiritual confidence to know where you stand with him.

Many Are Called But Few Are Ready

How do you know if you know Jesus? Because you attend church? Because you operate in spiritual gifts? Because your life has changed for the better? Those may seem like cynical questions until we take a closer look at the scriptures. Matthew, the seventh chapter, makes it clear that many churchgoing men and woman, who operate in spiritual gifts, will be rejected by Jesus because they don't know him. They had cast out devils or operated in deliverance ministry, healed the sick, and done many great works, yet they knew not the one in whose name they were doing it in. It is possible to answer the call without knowing the "One" who called you. In this insightful and groundbreaking book, respected author, prophet, and teacher Jeremiah Merritt shares with you: *How to discern and recognize the biblical Jesus *How to practically apply being a "son of God," in the earth *The role of sanctification in our relationship with Jesus Christ *The satanic role of false prophets and teachers in keeping unsuspecting men and woman in the church from knowing who Jesus really is *Understand the difference between God "preserving" us from wrath, or "reserving" us for wrath. You will walk away from your experience with this book being able to biblically and accurately discern your relationship with Jesus Christ, and have a divine, spiritual confidence to know where you stand with him.

The Case for Election the Original Doctrine of Predestination Presented by the Apostles

“So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen, Matthew 20:16.” 2. For many are called, but few are chosen, Matthew 22:14. Both phrases read with difficultly and are somewhat troubling as to their ...

The Case for Election the Original Doctrine of Predestination Presented by the Apostles

This book is about how the Christian actually became a Christian. The 'process' is Marc's focus. How does God take the Chosen from the womb to salvation then into His eternal bosom? The classic position of Election and Predestination is made plain; forcing the reader to address the alternative, Man's free-will choice to be 'saved' or not. Can these two positions be reconciled? No, not really. The Lord assured Moses: I will make all My goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before you. I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion, Exodus 33:19. Moses was to experience a limited 'theophany, ' what the Greek Orthodox call a 'theosis, ' the physical presence of God, Himself, equivalent to - 'My goodness.' It is God's very 'Goodness' the New Testament saint knows to be the indwelt Holy Spirit, the very Spirit of Christ Jesus, Himself, God Himself. Paul cites the Exodus passage in Romans to demonstrate to the body of Christ that God by His sovereignty elected each believer to be His own, that we did not elect ourselves to be God's. And one Saint asked, "Why write about such things that have been covered for hundreds of years?" True. But more recently much about God's sovereignty has been covered over. Christian modernity has adapted as the author once did to a new Evangelicalism. Whereby, some first truths have been buried so deep that when they are unearthed they appear to be a foreign theology to the present generation of Evangelical believers. Marc affords the saint the information necessary to actually understand how he or she actually got saved! Marc presently lives in Orlando Florida where he pastors Blessed Fellowship Orlando, an outreach ministry of Orlando Prayer and Worship Center, Senior Pastor Roy Futch.

Many Are Called

Many Are Called

(Part of the "Works of Ministry" Series) "You don't need to hear a call; you're already called." (Keith Green) Many are called. We are called to be fruitful. Some are called in a spectacular way. Some are called in an ordinary way. Some are called through their own desires. Some are called through quiet convictions. All are called divinely, by God. This book examines in detail the concept that God's calling falls on a large number of people, rather than the few one sees at the front of the church. Dag Heward-Mills received his own calling many years ago, and he listened. He changed the direction of his life, and in so doing put into motion the changing of hundreds of thousands of other lives as he helped them heed the call of the Lord. This book is a revelation! Many Are Called is another life-changing best-seller from a man of God who excels for Christ. About the author: Endorsed by Dr David Yonggi Cho, Dag Heward-Mills is the founder of Lighthouse Chapel International, which has become a worldwide denomination. He is the author of several best-selling books and his radio, TV and internet programmes reach millions around the world. Other outreaches include conferences for pastors and ministers, and the renowned Anagkazo Bible Ministry & Training Centre. ..". He has been a true inspiration to all of us in the Church Growth International ministry, and he is one of our honoured Board Members. His wisdom, insight and experience can inspire you." - Dr David Yonggi Cho, Senior Pastor, Yoido Full Gospel Church, Seoul, South Korea

Called for Life

From my perspective, we are all called—clergy, laity, the faithful, and the people on the fringe of a religious life. But people make many assumptions about what a call is, and many of those assumptions do not help us respond faithfully ...

Called for Life

Called for Life reflects on our calling to serve God and neighbor in the context of retirement. People facing retirement ask a variety of questions, each framed by a different perspective. "Will I ever be interested in retiring?" some baby boomers ask. "Who am I now?" newly retired clergy ask. "What, if anything, is God calling me to do and be after retirement?" all inquire. This book is built on the assumption that most people don't want to spend the last third of their lives doing nothing. What they want is a life that is worth living, an occupation that will help others, and a retirement in which they can continue to exercise their calling. Clayton uses examples from his own experience and from others, laity and clergy, to explore retirement and the three components of our calling: our identity, our gifts, and our occupation. He also examines the role of community in our calling and retirement, the challenges of the transition into retirement, options for meaningful activity, the importance of identifying our purpose, doing and being in retirement, and the final call to death. Readers will be encouraged to see retirement as an opportunity to do what they have always wanted to do and to become the kind of person they have wanted to be.
