Based on knowledge attained through his highly-trained clairvoyance, Rudolf Steiner contends that folk traditions regarding nature spirits are based on spiritual reality. He describes how people possessed a natural spiritual vision in ancient times, enabling them to commune with nature spirits. These entities - which are also referred to as elemental beings - became immortalised as fairies and gnomes in myth, legend and children's stories. Today, says Steiner, the instinctive understanding that humanity once had for these elemental beings should be transformed into clear scientific knowledge. He even asserts that humanity will not be able to reconnect with the spiritual world if it cannot develop a new relationship to the elementals. The nature spirits themselves want to be of great assistance to us, acting as 'emissaries of higher divine spiritual beings'.
Based on firsthand practical experiences of communicating with natural spirits through meditation, this eye-opening guide to healing the earth teaches how to work with elemental beings by describing each in detail while defining their roles within the web of life. As a result of tuning in to plants, trees, and animals, and illustrating the disrupted flow of energies within the landscape, the true impact of human culture upon the harmony of the natural world is evocatively revealed. Insight into related topics, such as how the long-suppressed Goddess culture embraces these energies to make strides toward healing the earth, can set anyone with earth and landscape concerns--gardeners, growers, designers, and builders--one step closer toward becoming environmental warriors.

Messages from Elemental and Nature Beings
Author: Verena Stael von Holstein
Pubpsher: CLAIRVIEW BOOKS
‘I can perceive spiritual beings in my surroundings… I can communicate with higher spirit beings of either an elemental or non-elemental kind, when they are willing. I can perceive the human aura, as well as certain areas of the astral plane… I can see the aura of plants and animals. I can speak with the guardian beings of plants and animals, inasmuch as they’re interested...’ – Verena Staël von Holstein Verena has learned to see and speak to elemental and nature beings. What’s more, she is able to translate their language into human terminology and thought. In this remarkable book, seventeen nature spirits are interviewed through her, almost as if these beings were sitting in front of us. Through the conversations we learn what spirits of fire, air, water and stone have to say – as well as hearing from beings of glass, silver, salt, paper, and even spirits of our dwellings and homes! They speak about their work with nature and their regrettable lack of contact with human beings. They describe the secrets of the cosmos, and tell of humankind’s past and future. The nature beings have surprising views on the environment, on natural disasters, good and evil, love and redemption. The interviews throw up beautiful, but sometimes disturbing insights into our world. Nature Spirits and What They Say offers an enchanting view of the world of elemental beings – but it also calls on us to recognize the seriousness of the situations they describe. As Verena explains, humans owe a huge amount to nature spirits, and we need to discover new ways of approaching them with full consciousness. This valuable book gives us the means to do just that.
How to Talk with and Photograph Beings of Other Realms
Author: Atala Dorothy Toy
Pubpsher: Quest Books
Category: Body, Mind & Spirit
Boulders laugh, trees talk, and practically each patch of ground has meaning, in Atala Toy’s experience. Faeries, angels, ghosts, orbs, and spirits of place are just some of the life forms with which she helps us attune-and shows us how to record their image! Readers will cherish her rare combination of esoteric wisdom and practical guidance. With substantive clarity, she explains time travel, portals, dowsing, negative and positive vortexes, balls of energy known as merkabahs, ley lines, and orbs-the plasma of some life form visible to human eyes or to cameras, many of which are nature spirits who enjoy being around happy energy and so are often seen at parties and spiritual gatherings. A professional interdimensional communicator, Atala is up to the minute in her understanding of the emerging field of spiritual sciences and the correlations between modern physics and ancient metaphysical traditions that perceive the oneness of all nature. We all communicate interdimensionally every day, she says. We just don’t know it, and so we lose out on the many ways to receive help from the other life forms who share our space. Drawing on her own and her clients’ experiences, she teaches through colorful stories and her own powerful photographs. Titles include “The Ghost Who Washed Dishes,” “The Haunted Hotel,” “The Guardian of the Spring,” “The Horse Who Knew More Than His Owners,” “The Jilted House,” “The Stranded Gnome,” “The Moss Faery,” “The Owl on Turtle Island,” and “The Balsam Who Loved the Birch.” She also includes lessons explaining the energetic principles of the situation; simple exercises for mastering the principle contained in the story; and tips for photographing other life forms using technology available to anyone, such as digital or even cell phone cameras. By entering the fascinating realm of this book, the reader will join the growing number of people aware of subtle energy and able to see through the veils between dimensions. Not only is this possibility personally enriching, it serves a broader purpose as well. Needless to say, the planet and everything on it is at a critical juncture. In damaging the earth, we have damaged the nature beings’ home as well. It is therefore strongly in their interest to assist us in transforming the earth into something better. This book shows us how to learn from and enjoy them in a most delightful way
In this lucid, step-by-step guide, Susan Raven introduces us to the world of nature spirits and elemental beings, explaining why those entities wish to reconnect with us. By working with the elementalswhich reside in the elements of earth, water, air, and firewe can become responsible co-creators at this critical time in our evolution. The future of humanity and the Earth may depend on such a positive and reciprocal relationship.
This work deals with how to make contact with, and work with all kinds of angels and flower, tree, animal and mineral nature spirits. Personal experiences are offered here by those who have made contact in this way, and there is also specific information provided about this magical world.
Once a year, in the late summer, all the nature spirits get together to have a party, and this story begins with just such a party, long, long ago. The spirits, lots of them, have gathered in a clearing in Bluebell Wood. A little stream gurgles merrily alongside the clearing, and beside it a table has been laid with raspberries, blackberries and loganberries in bowls made from walnut shells. The boy spirits have collected the berries which are growing at this time of year. They bring them to the girls who pick the tiny little berries off the main fruit, (each of which is as big as their heads) and put them in the bowls. There are other bowls of nuts that the squirrels have donated, which the boys cut up into bite size pieces, pots of honey that the bees have given them, and acorn cups of elderflower wine plus juices from the other berries, and clear sweet water from the stream. A little band provides the music. The mice play on drums that the squirrels have given them, made from the cups of hazel nuts. One of the girl nature spirits in the band plays a triangle, and another rings foxglove bells. One of the boys plays a tambourine and another strums an instrument they found in someone’s garden; it was actually a broken egg slicer but he plays it like a harp. The birds sit in the trees whistling their songs. The nightingale, blackbird and song thrush sing solos, the rest of the birds join in the chorus. Everyone is happy, the nature spirits dance all night and as daybreak comes the butterflies arrive and join in the fun. The butterflies are friends of the spirits and they play together quite often during the day.

And How to Communicate with Them
Author: Kathleen Pepper,Bodel Rikys
Category: Body, Mind & Spirit
All about the hidden world behind nature. Kathleen Pepper is the author of 'Hand in Hand with Angels' and although this book touches on angels too, its main focus is the lesser beings who are behind all life - and how to see and communicate with them. There are chapters on the angels of creation, gardens dedicated to the secret kingdom, angels and spirits of earth, air, fire and water, as well as ether; on angels and spiritual initiation, and a section full of photos of nature through which you can train yourself to see the life beyond earthly form. Although this is partly a workbook, Kathleen's own communications with angels and nature spirits render it a rich treasure of special knowledge. Through its title and subject this is also a book about developing your own clairvoyance. There's also a useful glossary of terms and reference to spiritual teachers and their wisdom, and some useful meditations you can follow safely without any prior knowledge - also hints for artists.
