Compelling Evidence from Children Who Remember Past Lives

A riveting firsthand account of one man’s mission to investigate and document some of the most astonishing phenomena of our time—children who speak of past life memory and reincarnation. All across the globe, small children spontaneously speak of previous lives, beg to be taken “home,” pine for mothers and husbands and mistresses from another life, and know things that there seems to be no normal way for them to know. From the moment these children can talk, they speak of people and events from the past—not vague stories of centuries ago, but details of specific, identifiable individuals who may have died just months, weeks, or even hours before the birth of the child in question. For thirty-seven years, Dr. Ian Stevenson has traveled the world from Lebanon to suburban Virginia investigating and documenting more than two thousand of these past life memory cases. Now, his essentially unknown work is being brought to the mainstream by Tom Shroder, the first journalist to have the privilege of accompanying Dr. Stevenson in his fieldwork. Shroder follows Stevenson into the lives of children and families touched by this phenomenon, changing from skeptic to believer as he comes face-to-face with concrete evidence he cannot discount in this spellbinding and true story.

This volume presents an intimate and compassionate portrait of elderly black and white women who speak, in their own voices, of the domestic and social abuses that led to their financial and emotional impoverishment, and of the transcendent effect of their relationship with God. Drawn from extensive qualitative interviews over a four-year period, the stories reveal women not impoverished by poverty, but amazingly resilient and resourceful in confronting adversity.
From Brian McDonald and Les McClaine comes Old Souls, a supernatural graphic novel about addiction, obsession, and the things we do for family. Chris Olsen has a good life. He has a regular job, a wife and daughter who love him, and a promising future. By any measure this is a good life, but it isn’t his first. When a troubling encounter with a homeless man triggers something inside Chris, memories of his past lives bubble to the surface. A lost Chinese boy, a wailing grandmother, and a love so powerful it never left his soul—all compete for his attention. Chris sinks deep into the seedy and seductive world of “grave robbers,” vagrants known for their ability to relive their former lives. But can he find closure to a tragic episode in his past without losing himself in the process?
Issai's had enough. For over five thousand years, he has been successively reborn with all his previous lives’ memories intact and relentlessly compelled to wander the earth as though drawn to a point that is continuously changing. Over the centuries, whispers of others similar to him began to surface, and his kind became known as Old Souls, revered by some but mostly creatures to be feared. Unable to find answers for his seemingly endless existence and no longer willing to play in what he fears is just a game for the gods’ amusement, Issai abandons his wanderings and questions and settles in an isolated town, determined to resist the strong urge to be on the move that has dictated his entire existence. However, after a brutal attack by the Shi, a secretive group of fanatics that believe consuming an Old Soul will grant them immortality, he is confronted by Hahri, a loud-mouthed Old Soul who offers him his first hint to the mystery behind their compulsion. Issai not only reluctantly finds himself in pursuit of the answers he had once forsaken but also running from a relentless enemy whose unprecedented numbers suggest that immortality may no longer be their only goal. From the glacial peaks of modern day Montana to the ancient pyramids of Mars, Old Souls is a superhero adventure sixty-five million years in the making, with a shocking climax so profound it will test your beliefs as to the origins of life on earth. The Past... Sixty-five million years ago, intelligent life evolved on a larger, fifth world orbiting beyond Earth known as Thayuh, Mars was its moon. In a catastrophic moment of Entropy, the planet Thayuh exploded: the resulting blast destroying all surface life on Mars, leaving behind an asteroid belt of debris and dead remnants of an Egyptian-esque civilization amidst the Martian craters. The Present... Sworn to protect mankind and the Earth from a repeat of ancient oblivion, a group of spiritually evolved, reincarnated superheroes known as "Old Souls" use their unique powers against an elite order bent on depopulating the planet with a cataclysmic attack.
The search for answers continues... Barely escaping the Mahze clan compound with their lives, Issai and Hahri sneak back into Kairash, hoping to meet Korin as planned. The last thing they expect is to run into the very teenager Issai is determined to find while the boy is trying to protect Korin’s missing little girl from a group of city guardsmen. In the ensuing chaos, both the boy and girl escape them, running off in opposite directions. They choose to pursue the girl, and Hahri ultimately manages to convince her to go with them to meet Korin. Once together, the four Old Souls delve deeper into the strange and sometimes frightening true nature of an Old Soul, discovering abilities Issai and Hahri have only glimpsed before, while also in pursuit of both the fugitive boy and Soujin, a man rumored to have become a god-like being with the power to grant true immortality after successfully consuming a thousand Old Souls. However, they soon learn that the Shi and slavers aren’t the only ones that have been hunting them, and that they may not be the only Old Souls being hunted... Reflections From An Old Soul What’s the book is about and what the reader should expect This book is a reflection of me the author, and the journey that I have chosen to travel along the designed high ways and by ways of my life. The different persons whom have been in and out of it, and the experiences that I have shared with them, as each individual has left a signature mark on my life as if they were signing a registry. The personal battles I had to fight in surviving as a child and right into my adult life as it progresses. Watching my mother struggled as we grow, and she lived to see us pursue our dreams. Being a father and is able to pass on a legacy to my children which was broken by mine, but I persevered, and I’m rebuilding that legacy I welcome you the reader in gasping these simple life lines, and as you are able to visualize some of my experiences, I can assure you that you will find some of these words similar to what you have been through. I hope the stories will make you reflect on some of your past experiences, and maybe what you’re at present feeling, as you walk with me on this journey. I do hope as you read this book you will be able to make a difference in interpreting the various literatures that I was able to visualize and share with you.
