Little Zaid s Journey to Salah

The Islamic Ritualized Prayer is one of the most important pillars of Islam and will be the first thing we'll be questioned about on the Day of Judgement. It is our duty as parents to teach our little ones about our gift of Salah in which we connect with our Creator five times a day. We must start teaching our children as early as seven years old as we were instructed by our Prophet, peace be upon him, by creating a positive atmosphere that encourages them to pray and forming a habit.Little Zaid's Journey to Salah takes us on Zaid's journey to how he was introduced to the Islamic Ritualized Prayer. Zaid shares the story of his first trip to his local Mosque with his dad and shares the story of how he went from praying once a day to five times a day. Zaid also teaches us the purpose of Salah, why we pray, and how to perform wudu (ablution) and perform the prayer. What better way to teach your child than learning it from a beautiful little story narrated by their peer with beautiful colorful illustrations that they'll love. A Guide to Salat Prayer in Islam

There are many books dealing with the Subject of Salat in both Arabic and Urdu. Many of these books are well written and provide an informative and comprehensive view of how Salat should be performed according to the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (S.W.S). Unfortunately, there are very few books in English which deal with the subject in the same informative and comprehensive way. Because of these weaknesses in existing literature in English we felt that the need existed to produce a medium sized book on Salat which would approach the subject according to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (S.W.S). The Prophet, himself, said, “Pray as you have seen me praying." During our research we sometimes found that differences occurred between established practices in various prayer books. In these circumstances we referred to authentic hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad (S.W.S) so that the points could be clarified as much as possible. This was, because, for a true Muslim there is no greater proof for settling arguments than authentic hadiths and practices of Prophet Muhammad (S.W.S). We hope that Allah will accept this humble attempt because without His support and help we would never have been able to do this work. Finally, we ask all our Muslim brothers and sisters to study the text and to strive to pray according to it. As you'll not aware that many sites are asking for money in $. I have made this book free to all countries and in return I'm asking for you to remember me in your prayer. Islamic Folklore The Staff of Prophet Musa AS (Moses) English Edition Lite Version Based From The Noble Quran And Al-Hadith. {And We inspired Musa (Moses) (saying), 'Throw your staff',’ and behold! It swallowed up straight away all the falsehoods which they showed.} (The Holy Quran Surah Al-Araf Verse 117) Why is it that a garden is sometimes green and sometimes yellow? Why is it that the deserts are dry and the mountaintops are covered with snow? Why is it that the color of the sun is like fire when rising and like blood when setting? Why is it that the moon turns from a beautiful full moon to a slim crescent? There are so many 'whys' which I cannot find the answer for. All I know is that I was a plant, then I became an inanimate object And then I turned into an animal. I know that my last transformation, from an object to an animal, was one of Allah's great Miracles. Islam for Our Time

Written by an American Muslim convert who has lived nearly 40 years among the Muslims, the author presents an insider's account of Islam's true place within the family of religions, what it means to be a Muslim living in the shadow of the modern world, and how to cultivate a life of spirituality through the way of Islam in today's anti-spiritual environment. Within its pages, history unfolds, mysteries are unveiled, and secrets are revealed that shed light on the great human story of spiritual awakening and fulfillment. "This rigorous and highly readable introduction to Islam goes a long way to remedy the lack of historical perspective and the narrowing of intellectual and spiritual scope contributing to the outer and inner crisis of the Muslim world, as well as the poor understanding of this religion in the West. Another significant merit of Herlihy's book is the way it sets out the universal principles of Islam, shared with other traditional faiths, and its emphasis on the moral and spiritual fruits of the religion. This work is an invaluable resource for Muslims and non-Muslims alike, providing as it does a solid grounding in the traditional spirit of Islam." Patrick Laude, professor at Georgetown University, Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service, Qatar "Readers will find that this timely work by John Herlihy offers a sublime contribution to the field of Islamic Studies. Relevant for Muslims and non-Muslims alike, one of the book's major themes is that the Islamic tradition converges with the unanimous tradition residing at the heart of each of the world's religions. The book reminds us that the foundations of the modern and postmodern world were formulated in revolt from the sacred, which is an essential point to be recognized by anyone seeking to understand the crisis that consumes the contemporary epoch. This work provides ultimate answers to ultimate questions." Samuel Bendeck Sotillos, editor of Psychology and the Perennial Philosophy: Studies in Comparative Religion "Amidst widespread miscomprehensions of Islam generated by Western media, readers who wish to understand the true nature of this noble tradition and its related spirituality will find this volume a trustworthy and illuminating guide. As a Western convert, philosopher, and above all practitioner, John Herlihy is well placed to dispel the fog of misunderstanding which often surrounds the subject of Islam. This book will be warmly welcomed by all those wishing to understand the timeless message of Islam, by seekers looking for practical guidance, and by those concerned with fostering a more harmonious global community of religions." Harry Oldmeadow, author of Frithjof Schuon and the Perennial Philosophy.
